As the current AR coordinator for Southern Truss, I feel the need to correct the ridiculousness that's been posted about this company. David, we are not a used car dealership. We build trusses. In the state of Florida, you have 30 days to switch the title into your name. As I understand it, you purchased the car in December or January and then posted this complaint in May. That's a tad longer than 30 days. If the title wasn't completed correctly all you had to do was apply for a lost/stolen title. It's that simple. No need for drama or complaints on Google about a company that doesn't normally sell cars. Kevin Davies we don't have any customers listed under your name or any companies associated with your name in our system. I would know if you'd purchased anything from us since I'm the person who takes the payments and keeps up with everything AR related. Our engineering is completed on time unless a problem arises. At that point, we contact the customer so they know the issue and so that we are aware of how to proceed. Trusses are delivered in a timely manner as well. Otherwise, we wouldn't have contracts with large home builders who require we stick to their schedule. If you had truly been a legitimate customer you would also know that we collect half of the payment up front and the other half at truss delivery if you don't have an established account (which you don't) which means that we would have never harassed you for payment since the money would have been received before delivery. So whoever created your fictitious name and review should really read Google's policy on this. They should also know that it's 2015 and tracing a post from an IP address isn't difficult at all and they can be sued for defamation (you know... with it being in print and all on a public forum and the fact that it could possibly damage this business). Erin, who is really the idiot here sweetie? If you were employed steadily for two years at another company, why would you leave that security to work for someone else? Perhaps they weren't happy with your work or there were other issues that led to you being let go on January 2. Whatever the case may be, you were an at will employee which means your employer doesn't need a reason to terminate your employment. I find it to be really sad and pathetic when people can't address the actual issue they are having with the correct person and they feel the need to go on a public forum and have a temper tantrum. Time to grow up and deal with life, people. It's also time to stop posting lies on a public forum (we've printed this btw so delete all you want) unless you wish to be contacted by an attorney and then you can throw your temper tantrum in the courtroom for the judge. This is a business... not a daycare. We are all adults so conduct yourself accordingly and stop being an embarrassment.
This place will hire you, not pay you what they said, then will say the work is slow so they always let people go. Training sucks, but then they want you to be going faster.
ERIN NEWMAN is nowhere in our employment records. Sadly this is a case of spoiled step-child bad behavior.........for someone going on 50 years of age I think it's time to grow up.
THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY TO WORK FOR. THEY HIRE YOU AND PROMISE YOU STEADY WORK. YOU RESIGN FROM YOUR STEADY JOB THAT YOU'VE BEEN AT FOR 2 YEARS, WORK AT SOUTHERN TRUSS FOR LESS THAN A MONTH AND SUDDENLY THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH WORK AND LET YOU GO ON JANUARY 2ND. THIS IS WHY THEY CONSTANTLY HAVE ASIGN UP SAYING THEY ARE HIRING. THIS COMPANY IS OBVIOUSLY BEING RUN BY IDIOTS THAT DON'T HAVE THE FIRST CLUE AS TO HOW TO MANAGE THEIR EMPLOYEES.
