I too am a healthcare worker, so trust me, I would not lie about good health care. I'm talking full circle healthcare workers. One's that stay on their A-game, and are caring, sociable, totally on the ball from the get to the go!
If you're in need of a doctor, for ANY reason, be it, can't sleep, you're suffering from pain, you need labs for some reason, etc., You'd do well for yourself or someone you care about who's suffering to give PIC a call and just walk in. Only from my experiences do I recommend such help?
Dr. Sanford is probably the best doctor I've ever visited. Also Troy the physician's assistant was great too. I live in California and visited Dr. Sanford on a friend's recommendation for a personal problem and I have to say that he was one of the more personable doctors I've seen. Just visiting doctors about anything, I always feel like they don't care and just want to get to the next patient quickly. This guy listened to what I was saying and seemed very friendly and intelligent and non-judgmental I will definitely come back if I ever visit Florida again.
Very professional staff knew what they were doing. The nurse that did the blood draw was an expert, painlessly Doctors were direct and to the point explaining things I didn't understand which made it easier for me to understand. The experience was good
They should change there name to care later because I have been to this place atleast 10 times to see the doc for my work comp injury and a handful of times for illness and I have never spent less then 2-3 hours waiting to be seen .... even if I was the only person in the waiting room and as a patient not related to my injury . And that's just the waiting room then they take you to the exam rooms and guess what you get to wait.... but don't worry once the dr comes in he is only in there a matter of minutes and your out the door
The office staff, nurses, and doctors are all friendly, courteous, and professional. Dr. Sanford is the best and Troy goes above and beyond.
Well, PIC doctors, I believe there are at least 4-5 different ones. I've seen three thus far, are EXTREMELY friendly. Even when they are quick with your one at one time, your treated seriously. I went just recently, saw a Doctor I'd yet to meet. He was quick, but this was a follow up from another Dr., so he knew my background and history before he came in to see me. In the end, I was given proper medical care, i.e., prescription, referrals to a few surgeons and was told to "feel better and please call one of the referral doctors, and it was a pleasure to meet you.".
The next day I called the referral closest to where I live, and amazingly got an appointment in a weeks time. 7 DAYS to see a Neurosurgeon? It's practically unheard. I attribute that to the positively good vibes Physicians Immediate Care seems to put forth.
During my 38 years, I have needed immediate care from a "walk-in clinic," at most...I'd reckon six times, maybe less. Coming here was probably my 2nd time. I needed immunizations for my hospital clinical rotations while I was in college. PIC, (physicians Immediate care), was at first sight, CLEAN and spacious. The receptionist was charming. Which now in retrospect, the staff at other walk-in facilities are, for the most part, OK in the personality department. It's truly the Doctor's that give the overall vibe. At least 85-90% of the overall impression.
