As all dog owners know, our pets are family. When one takes their pet to the vet it's because we love them and we want to keep them healthy. Unfortunately, I took my pet here because she wasn't not eating and losing weight. Prior to taking her here I have opened her mouth and noticed a huge sore under her tongue and she had a swollen neck. Took her to the vet and explained to vet what I saw. The vet didn't make any real effort to look at my dogs mouth instead she wanted to run a bunch of test, x-ray, ultrasound and dental care. I agreed to leave my dog overnight with the understanding that my dog will get something done and get answer for what was wrong with my dog. I even left a 250 deposit for potential services. Next day I get a call for me to consent to services and additional money. I became frustrated because that was the entire purpose of me leaving my dog there overnight to get services done. I spoke to office manager who began to argue with me about what I did and din not consent to. She is a worthless piece of a human being and should not be working in customer service. Basically close to 500 later no one could tell me what was wrong with my dog and vet had never address the original purpose of me bringing my dog there. I will never bring any of my babies here for vet care. WORTHLESS PLACE TO BRING YOUR PET! DON'T BRING PET HERE!!!!

I'm searching for a good vet for my two small dogs (rescued) and after seeing the excellent reviews here I wanted to come over and visit the facility and take a look a the boarding. I though to bring both to have their nails trimmed, and PROBABLY register them. Unfortunately, when I called, the receptionist inform me that they would have to have a physical exam before doing any nail trimming... My common sense tells me that a full physical exam should not be completely necessary for them to perform a simple nail trimming (alas, not as a free service but paid by me) while I tour this place and make a decision to have my dogs register at this Vet. If most of this clinics where more flexible, more humane in their relations with their customers, they could have better business. This was just a phone call but enough to disappoint. Giving us an option to see the facility, and see their interactions with our loved ones so we can make our decisions, and doing a simple nail clipping should not require a physical exame$$$$$... But it seems that greed plays a mayor part here. .. Still searching for a good vet!!

The vet took very good care of our dog. Very compationet crue.

Used to be more of a caring place therefore I gave them a 2 rating. My dog had eye issues..prescribed nothing. My dog had seizures which increased to every day..prescribed nothing and tried to push us off to a neurologist. In the span of two weeks we take our pet here for these 2 issues three times before taking them to a different vet for a second opinion. We took him two days after his last visit to Midway Vet. The new vet IMMEDIATELY prescribed him eye meds. and told us it was an obvious ulcer on his eye and if he survived the one eye would have to be tooken out. They put an iv in him so we could give him fluids every 2 hours sent us home and made an appointment for the next day. The next day he seemed to be a little better so they prescribed seizure meds. They warned us he was very sick and it may had been too late but they were trying to save him. Later that night he had his last seizure and passed....Midway vet was there for simple check ups over 6 years. But once something serious goes on with my dog its like no big deal?? These days you go there and everything thing is hi..bye on to the next pet. All about fitting in as many appointments and making that $$$. So sad my dog was going blind in one eye and having seizures daily at this point and they did nothing when another vet (and notice im not naming them) immediately diagnosed the eye problem and prescribed my pet meds!! Not to mention midway vet told us 2 DAYS PRIOR his eye issue was GUNK in his eye and to "rub" it out..maybe my dog would've never gotten so depressed and sick because he had a damn ulcer on his eye going blind on top of the seizures. Such a shame that we didn't take him to a different vet sooner. NEVER again will I take any future pets to Miday Vet..NEVER.

Our dog Tiki is a new patient and we love this place ! The staff is genuinely empathetic and loving and Dr. Flood is the real deal ! She is the most caring Dr. I have ever met !
